Volvo Iron Knight Truck Claimed Two World Speed Record. Some trucks are built for different purposes. The new Volvo Iron Knight vehicle is one of them. This truck has been claimed to be the fastest on two world records at once. Even though it is not surprising for Volvo, with Wild Viking and Mean Green broke records too, this truck is still something else. This is a beast. Check the update below.
Volvo Iron Knight Truck Specifications
Exterior, and Interior
When this news arrives, there is no official information on its build. However, it is reported that this Volvo Iron Knight Truck 4,500 kg in weight. Even though the numbers seem enormous, it is already light for what it has. From the photo, we can see this truck is finished with white paint job with black accent and little blue touch here and there. It rides on four giant wheels.
The driver cabin looks like on the second deck of the truck with its lower part is high enough. Being a mid-engine truck, it has no nose at all, but there are massive black front grille and huge air intake at the front. There is no bed, but the head of the truck is attached to lower part of the rear body, and this rear body is pretty high, higher than wheels.
The cab is reported to be fiberglass as well. It looks sturdy but lightweight as well. The entire parts of the build are bespoke.

During the record making, this truck was driven by three-decade trucks and race cars driver, Boije Ovebrink in Skellefteå Drive Center in Sweden.
In 500 meter distance, the truck hits 13.71-time records with 82 mpg of average speed in the process. Meanwhile, the same truck runs 1000 meter range within 21.29 seconds record with 105 mph of average speed and 171 mph of top speed.

Seriously, this is one hell of a truck. It runs fast, and it looks monstrously. This is a perfect model for a vehicle. Unfortunately, this is not going to come into production, which is logical, though. Let’s hope Volvo is considering the mass-produced version of this Volvo Iron Knight truck.
