With their brand getting more and more popular, the new Tesla S 60 and Tesla S 60D had officially introduced a couple of days ago. The new cars are reported to receive the new battery, better performance, and nicer look as the wheel. The two cars are like a twin. Here is the 2017 Tesla Model S 60 and 60D complete update.
Tesla Model S 60 and 60D Specs
As it has always been, Tesla fits an electric engine under the hood empowered by a set of 60 kWh battery pack. Both trims use the same spec for the power source, but it results differently. Even though transmission option was not mentioned, the engine will be paired with the two-wheel drive on S 60 and all-wheel drive configuration on S 60D trim. In S 60, this engine achieves around 248 miles of range with 5.5 seconds of acceleration rate and 130 mph of top speed quote. In 60D, this engine produces around 253 miles with 5.2 seconds of acceleration rate and the same quote of top speed. Buyers can also get the 75 kWh battery pack that improve range on both trims up to 50 and 51 miles.
Exterior and Interior
The new Tesla model S for this year still inherits the same design, but few parts receive a little facelift to refresh the look. The front grille is apparently updated along with new slimmer black section on its’ nose, new headlights with the new style which is a match to Model X design, and both cars have new interior options.
The options include two trimmings, Dark Ash Wood or Figured Ash Wood. In addition to it, both cars will receive HEPA filter that helps in removing contaminants, bacteria, most of the allergens, and exhaust pollution.
Tesla Model S 60 and 60D Release Date and Price
Both cars are now available at the dealership. Price has been set as well with S 60 starts from £53,400 or $67,200, and S 60D starts from £57,800 or $72,200. This price is considered reasonable and practically cheap comparing to how they rate for the S 90D that reaches $90,700. This brand already has particular segment and fans and its price shouldn’t be an issue.
Once again, Tesla has made seriously competitive work on the eco-friendly car. The sedan is rather low on demand right now, but their technology is comparable to those premium and exclusive brands, or maybe even better. The low regardless trend on the sedan, the new 2017 Tesla S 60 and Tesla S 60D will sell just high among enthusiasts.
