Renault Trezor Concept Leaked in Picture and Video Teaser. Ahead of its appearance in 2016 Paris Motor Show event, the new Renault Trezor concept has been officially revealed in an image and video teaser. Even though the entire specs and details are lacking on the picture and video, the car carries useful hints we will like. Do you want to know how it looks? Check out the details below.
Renault TREZOR Specifications
Features, Exterior, and Interior
After video teaser and official image leak, we get some hints on the Renault TREZOR car. In the picture, this car looks stunning with little ground clearance and massive wheel arches on both ends. It looks more like the sports sedan than anything else. Its bonnet gets the hexagonal pattern. It also takes the light bar in full width, aggressive rear diffuser, and raked windscreen.
This Renault TREZOR car features active autonomous driving as the driver is asleep in the cabin. The interior is on red haze as we can see in the video, and this may indicate the autonomous driving feature is active on this car, and it filters the light and changes it into dimming lighting for the cabin.
It is also previewed that the new steering wheel on this car concept seems to be futuristic and it looks more like digital displays in the middle section.
Its left screen appears to be speed control buttons as well. This car is mentioned to have “surprising proportions.” While Renault remains terrific recently, we shouldn’t be surprised at anything right now, but we should wait and see what they have to this concept. We must admit if the car goes as the image previews, this car is going to be intense and super cool.

Powertrain, Electric Range — Renault TREZOR Concept
Most possibly, this TREZOR EV car will be powered by Z.E powertrain as indicated with letter “Z” on this car. This engine is mentioned to have zero emission rate when used. However, performance figures aren’t clear yet at this point. It should be disclosed in its official debut during the Paris show.
The TREZOR’s proportions also contribute to its engaging on-the-road manner. Its wide tracks (front: 2,048mm / rear: 2,106mm) and wheelbase (2,776mm) enhance road holding, while the ultra-low bodywork optimises aerodynamics to achieve a drag co-efficient (Cd) of just 0.22. Its centre of gravity is also particularly low (ground clearance: 25cm) for greater stability and less body roll.
To improve battery range and performance, Renault Design paid special attention to taking weight out of the vehicle. The chassis incorporates a central carbon cell mated to tubular steel frames front and rear. The monocoque and access hatch are made from carbon. Thanks to this work, the TREZOR boasts the poise of a spectacular GT (length: 4,700mm / width: 2,180mm / height: 1,080mm) while tipping the scales at just 1,600kg.
Renault TREZOR Price and Release Date
Pricing on this TREZOR concept can’t be estimated at this point with full specs are unknown. However, we should know more as this car concept will be reviewed during this week 2016 Paris Motor Show event.
Renault has been terrific since Laurens van den Acker handles the design. This car is going to be awesome all the way, and its features are going to be very advanced. Stay tuned to get the full report about this Renault Trezor concept during the Paris show debut.
