Proton Saga Aeroback Rendering Shows the Wagon Version. Even though Proton already confirms that Proton Saga Aeroback will not come to production as they prefer to focus more on rebadged Suzuki Ertiga, a render master, Theophilus Chin, makes a nice rendering on the possible look of the wagon. If you are interested enough on this, read the complete details below.
Proton Saga Aeroback Specifications
Features, Exterior, and Interior
The estate or wagon version of this model is supposed to seat up to five adult passengers in the cabin. Proton test mule earlier for this version features many elements we can find in the sedan. The rendering is something else. Clearly, Chin is a big fan of Skoda, and He adds Skoda Rapid Spaceback’s rear end to the render. It doesn’t have Skoda C-shaped taillights though nor BMW M Sport-style rear bumper as it should usually be found on the Skoda car.
The external body is finished in red while its roof is finished in black. It very settles for being honest. Maybe, it rides on the same 15-inch alloy wheels as well. The entire glass house, front grille, and rear lower bumper are finished in black as well, making consistent work of dual tone scheme.
The interior isn’t detailed in the rendering even though it is shown to be similar enough to the sedan. The cabin though should feature the same things as well like Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control, ABS feature with BA and EBD, dual front airbags.
There are also reverse camera, the four-speaker sound system with Bluetooth connectivity, and tilt steering. Like in the sedan, this wagon can be available in three trims as well including Premium, Executive, and Standard.
Powertrain, Engine spec
This Proton Saga Aeroback wagon should be powered by the same engine in the sedan. The engine should be 1.3-liter four-cylinder VVT engine that generates 70 kW of power output and 120 Nm of torque performance. The transmission should be possible in two options as well including CVT unit and five-speed manual transmission to be available in Standard trim only.

Proton Saga Aeroback Release Date
This is a rendering only without any official confirmation for production. Well, after looking at the rendering, we should want Proton to take it into production right?. It should make a nice wagon with enough power and features, as long as they make it as Chin makes it, though. As mentioned above, Proton Saga Aeroback won’t be produced at least for now, so this rendering is for fun only.
