Opel Astra Can be Had with Opel OPC Line Sport Pack — It seems like Opel, which also known as Vauxhall in some distribution destination, wants to offer sportier look to its new Opel Astra model. Even though this model can be purchased without the pack, Opel underlines that the pack provides more confident and appealing look. What is included in the pack? Check the details below.
Opel Astra OPC Line Sport Pack Specifications
Features, Exterior, and Interior
This Opel Astra OPC Line Sport Pack is offered for the five-door hatchback. And, it will be available for three trims on the model including Innovation, Dynamic, and Active. Trying to offer the same fun in sportier look, this package includes the fresh diffuser, vertical taillights in the lower position, larger bumper. It also has sculpted license plate, new side sills, new front apron, and horizontal bars instead of fog lights.
This package is offered in few color options. There are two lacquers finish including Summit White and Absolute Red. In addition to it, there will be six metallic colors to offer including Emerald Green, Mineral Black, Deep Sky Blue, Cosmic Grey, Dark Caramel, and Sovereign Silver.
For additional information, Opel confirms that the package will include color consistency on its side skirts, and front and rear apron. For many sports lovers, this package is not offering enough sporty look even though the design is not bad at all.
As expected, this is the merely cosmetic offer, and it doesn’t include any mechanical changes let alone upgrade. So, this pack should come to complete the car in the same model with the same engine as in the standard model. This is rather disappointing, but we are talking about cosmetic upgrade instead of a redesign, though.

Opel Astra OPC Line Sport Pack Price and Release Date
Pricing on this OPC Line Sport package is excluded from the single car price. It means buyers need to make additional expense get the package. In Germany, this package costs around €1,150 or $1,283 at the current exchange rate. This package is now available in Opel dealerships along with the base model cars.
In such price, this cosmetic upgrade can be considered as a little expensive. It doesn’t offer as much as buyers may expect, leave alone the mild change on the car look, but it charges high enough pricing.
Well, it looks like the pack offers little tweaks to the standard model. However, it is hardly sporty enough especially when we compare it with other cars with real sporty elements. However, it may attract few buyers though especially young drivers. Let’s just skip this update and wait for the GSi model following Opel Astra.
