Nissan Juke e-Power, the New Hybrid from Nissan. Nissan Juke e-Power will be revealed for the first time at Tokyo Motor Show that will be held on October, this year. Furthermore, this car will be the newest product for their electric models series. Therefore, we can say that they are ready to face the competition in the electric car market.
Nissan Juke e-Power Specifications
The new Nissan Juke e-Power is said to be the concept car. It does look like that from the appearance of the photo of this car we got. First of all, it has a lot of sharp cut on its exterior. That design makes this car looks more muscular and sporty as well, especially if you look at the ground clearance that pretty high.
In addition, this design also looks futuristic. Maybe, this is the reason why they call it as the concept car. But, as much as they said and other people see it as futuristic or concept car, it said that this car has been entering production stage. Therefore, we can assume that this seems like the perfect design without further development after they show it on October, later. If that’s the reality, we can only say one thing. It’s cool car!.
Like its name, this Nissan Juke e-Power will also use the electric power. Although we think it was great because it has an electric name on it and it will be the pure electric car when we saw it for the first time, it seems like Nissan doesn’t want to go that far. They still add some fossil fuel powertrain under the hood to make it run powerful enough to satisfy the driver.
By looking at the power train, we can see that it has similar power train like what you can find on Note e-Power, that was revealed in November last year. Therefore, we can say that this car will carry the 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine as a company for the power generator it has and the inverter for changing its mode. The unique thing about the power train is you can recharge it like what a normal electric car. Instead, the car uses the small engine as the source of the electricity.

Nissan Juke e-Power Release Date and Price
The exact release date hasn’t been revealed. However, we can predict that this car won’t be available on the market until after the launch of the next-generation model from Nissan. But, we can still ease our mind, because there is one of the cool cars here. In addition, like mentioned before, this car has to enter the production stage, which is still a rumor but it can be trusted. So, we can hope that it will be available shortly.
As for the price, we don’t have exact information about this matter. However, if you compare it with the previous series, the Nissan Leaf, the size of Juke is more compact. That’s why it will have lot lower price than the previous series. For instance, we can assume that Juke will be priced around $20,000. Unfortunately, Nissan only launches it for Japan market. They say Japan market is more open-minded about extreme design like Nissan Juke e-Power.
