Here is the whole spec is known so far.
Nikola Zero All-Electric Specifications
Features, Exterior, and Interior
As mentioned above, this new Nikola Zero Electric not a truck or SUV, but this is a UTV ( Utility Task Vehicle ). We should try to picture outdoor off-road vehicle without windows or other comfort elements. This UTV should seat four adult passengers safely. Even though the entire features included haven’t been mentioned, it looks like it has enough safety features on the inside.
It weighs only around 1,900 pounds, which is light enough. It also has 14.5 inches of ground clearance, and it is built waterproof so the battery won’t get fired during the water crossing. Of course, we can’t expect Windows, but it has sporty seats with beautiful style and safe seat belt in the cabin.
This Nikola Zero UTV is also claimed to have twice of popular UTV stopping power, towing capacity, and payload. It rides on 32 inches of bead lock tires, and it is equipped with on-board air compressor system.
Powertrain, Electric Range — Nikola Zero UTV
Unlike popular UTV today, this one is using all electric powertrain. Power is derived from the 72 kWh lithium-ion battery pack to power four electric motors, one on each of the wheel. The electric motors in combination can generate 520 hp of power output and 476 lb-ft of torque performance.
Even though there is no information on its transmission, the engine can sprint from 0 to 62 mph within three seconds, which is very impressive. In addition to it, the battery offers 100-200 miles of range on a single charging on all-wheel drive configuration all the time.
Nikola Zero Electric Price and Release Date
This new Nikola UTV is now available for order in MSRP $37,000 pricing. Down payment needs $750 deposit, but it is totally refundable. Unfortunately, there is no official confirmation on when the delivery should happen so far.
At this point, we should be sure that those performance figures don’t have enough rival or competition in the market and it’s impressive enough for a UTV. Even though the market range isn’t wide, this should make an excellent option for off-road fun. To those who love being outdoor and don’t mind about little comfort in a vehicle, Nikola Zero electric UTV will make a perfect partner for adventure.
