IAT Kalman – The Weirdest Most Powerful SUV This Year. IAT Kalman was announced during the 2016 Beijing Auto Show event. There are weird and freaky cars during the event, yet this is the winner. This SUV is reported going to be a beast on its class featuring most extraordinary specs and appearance. There is not much information yet, but here is the detail so far.
IAT Kalman Specifications
This prototype IAT Kalman car is currently developed to use the most fearful engine so far, the Triton V10 6.8 liter of gasoline engine that can produce up to 362 hp of power output. So far, there is no further information on the performance, but we should be able to imagine the paired torque performance, and transmission and configuration of the SUV. This will be a monster on all terrain. It is also reported that the SUV is built based on Ford F-450 performance, which is really nice. We should stay tune for further details on this.
Exterior and Interior
The exterior look is the strangest part. It looks like originally built with 2014 Ford F-150 in mind, but it is enriched with so many angles everywhere of the body. It looks like the body is built of so many prisms attached to each other. So weird. The dimension is mentioned to be 6 meters long, and it makes it officially an extreme IAT Kalman SUV.
The IAT Kalman’s interior is so much better. It gets gold accent everywhere, but the entire surfaces are covered with Alcantara or black leather. We will also find wooden parts on several of the surface, making it muscular and aggressive yet luxurious and elegant as well.
The cabin can seat only four passengers including driver, and it features premium things like folding table, champagne fridge, matching teacup, and many others. The cabin can be customized as buyers requirement as well, adding personal value in the SUV.
IAT Kalman Release Date and Price
It seems like 10 units of the IAT Kalman prototype is ready to order in £1,267,370 or around $1.9 million. This is a fantastic price, but it is reasonable for the entire specs. The automaker is currently looking for a partner in Germany to produce the SUV overseas. This will make interesting update later.
This SUV is definitely going to be a real hit in the market. The outer look may not please everyone, but the power output is undeniably nice. Maybe, specific enthusiasts can accept the look. Monster never looks nice though. It will be interesting for European market as well. Let’s see how IAT Kalman production will progress.
