Exterior, Interior reviews
Toro Freedom Flex 2.4 comes with the tire pressure monitoring system, sporty leather steering wheel, pedal shifter, and 16” wheels. If you think those features are not sophisticated enough for your style, maybe the Black Jack edition will suit your taste better.
Fiat Toro Black Jack Edition is based on Toro Freedom Flex 2.4, but it gets some additional styling. If you take a closer look, the design actually resembles Jeep Renegade Batman vs. Superman edition. Besides the features mentioned above, Black Jack will give you extra leather seat with the black accent to spice up the interior.
Meanwhile, the exterior gets more attractive thanks to the stealthy styling without the chrome accents. Also, the 16” wheels are ditched and replaced with tinted 17” wheels that are clearly more elegant.
New MultiAir Engine– Fiat Toro Freedom Flex 2.4 Black Jack Edition
This new Fiat Toro pickup truck black edition comes with three engine options. Customers can choose between 140 HP 1.8 L flex-fuel engine, 2.0 L Multijet diesel engine that delivers 170 HP, or the most powerful one that is taken from Jeep Renegade, 2.4 L MultiAir engine. This 4-cylinder engine is capable of producing 186 HP and 180 lb-feet of torque.
The 2.4 L MultiAir engine is going to be Brazilian’s favorite because it is capable to run on 100% ethanol. As we know, since 1976, the Brazilian government has made it mandatory to blend gasoline with ethanol for transportation purpose.

As a result, there are no vehicles in this country that run on pure gasoline. So, the fact that this Toro pickup can run with pure ethanol is an excellent sale point.
Despite that advantage, Fiat understands that customers might be reluctant to purchase the 2.4 L engine version because it is bigger than the 1.8 L and consequently will burn more gas. But you don’t have to worry concerning that because this pickup is equipped with Start 7 Stop system. This system is capable of cutting fuel consumption up to 20% even in Brazil’s congested traffic. There is no information regarding price and launching date. Stay tuned!.
