Based on brand’s Buick Grand National concept, the new model will offer three different engine options. It includes turbocharged I4 LTG 2.0 liter engine generating 250 hp of power output, naturally aspirated V6 LFX 3.6 liter engine producing 300 hp of power output. And, twin-turbocharged V6 LF3 3.6 liter engine making 400 hp of power output.
The entire specs haven’t been revealed, perhaps soon after some tests. The complete engines will be direct injection engine with so many other features including Variable Valve Timing. So far, this is the only information known about what is going on under the hood and what can go for new Buick Grand National GNX. If it goes to production level, the new sedan should be a nice thing to drive.

This new Buick Regal is said to be built on GM’s rear-wheel-drive platform, the Alpha. This platform has been used on many variations on driving wheel configuration, though. Price is not yet officially set yet, but it is estimated to starts from $30,000 with the top range trim, Buick Regal Grand National GNX, starting from $40,000. Being a performance oriented car, it takes few cars as rivals like Hyundai Genesis series.
This has been a great news since the first rumor. However, it looks like trusted source believe that Buick cancels their plans on this Buick Grand National twin turbo car.
