2025 Buick Luna Specifications
Even though the lack of hatchback in other market doesn’t make Buick’s lineup less strong, still it feels incomplete. If you feel the same way, or if you are just curious how a luxury hatchback from Buick could look like, you can take a look at a breathtaking rendering of Buick hatchback, made by an American artist, Cameron Bresn.
The car is named Buick Luna, and it actually will complete the current and future Buick lineup, if only it were real. The designer made it clear that Luna is not just another hatchback. It is designed to be a car that will stand proudly in 2025, and it is even set to rival the mighty Volkswagen Golf.
The design is futuristic with sleek, clean and aesthetics. Overall, the design of this 2-door car focuses on soft forms with very subtle transition between lines and parts. In spite of the futuristic design, Luna still maintains the refined elegance that is the characteristic of a Buick. In addition, the car also comes with unique 5-spoke wheel design as well as the sexy sloping front windshield.
As a car designed for the future, comfort becomes the priority in the cabin, especially since Luna comes with semi-autonomous driving capability. The cabin of this 4-seat hatchback is specially created to cater to both conventional driving and autonomous driving needs. With bubble cockpit construction, Luna gives us a glimpse of what a futuristic car would look like.

The futuristic design is all about simplicity and ease of use, and that is all Buick Luna’s dashboard is all about. The nontraditional dashboard design is very clean, simple and all the controllers are moved to the steering wheel and center console. The steering wheel itself is in unique rectangular shape that gives a race car vibe. Furthermore, there is a special screen on the center console.
When the autonomous driving mode is activated, the position of the steering wheel and center console will be automatically reconfigured to give the utmost comfort to the passengers. Besides, the seats can also be fully reclined which makes commuting in autonomous mode becomes even more convenient.
The designer doesn’t specify the details of the powertrain, but it is stated in the blueprint that it is all-electric.
Of course, up to this day, there is no sign that Buick will venture to the world of the hatchback. Furthermore, judging from Buick’s customer’s preferences, it is hard to predict whether they will be thrilled with this body style. But if one day the American luxury automaker decides to build a hatchback, it definitely will be a hit if it looks anything like Luna.
