2018 Toyota C-HR Heads to Debut in Los Angeles Auto Show. After making its European debut in last March Geneva Motor Show then headed to Paris Motor Show just a couple of weeks ago, 2018 Toyota C-HR ended its European tour and finally headed to North America.
This car will make its US debut at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show. Actually, Toyota has not revealed anything about the US spec. But if it looks anything like the prototype spotted in Michigan last April, it is not that hard to make a prediction.
2018 Toyota C-HR Specifications
Exterior, Interior Design
The All new 2018 Toyota C-HR prototype looks pretty much the same as the European version, especially the shape, truncated rear, body line and the signature raked windows. The most noteworthy differences are in the headlights. The prototype comes with the upswept headlight. Furthermore, opposite to the European version that has LED cluster, the prototype is equipped with halogen light bulb.
The 2018 C-HR car is 4360 mm long, 1795 mm wide and 1550 mm tall. Consequently, this 4-door compact SUV is smaller than RAV-4 but bigger than Nissan Juke. The body line is especially distinctive in the prototype, starting from the headlights, making its way down to the wheel arch, go straight to the belt line before finally disappearing on the taillight cluster. The body line gives strong design element to the car so let’s hope it makes it into production.

It is very likely that C-HR US spec will be completely different. But one thing for sure, we can expect the US spec to come with front-wheel drive as standard while all-wheel drive is optional. With these specifications, we can anticipate 2018 Toyota C-HR to be a strong rival for Nissan Juke, Honda HR-V, and even Jeep Renegade.
