2018 Kia Stinger Officially Debuted at 2017 Detroit Auto Show. After several years of waiting, Kia finally launched 2018 Kia Stinger at this year’s Detroit Auto Show. This RWD coupe-like sedan is inspired by GT concept that was unveiled at 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show.
Furthermore, the new Stinger is also dubbed as the South Korean automaker’s fastest and most expensive car to date. This is definitely not just an empty claim, especially because Albert Biermann, BMW’s ex-engineering chief is in charge of developing the chassis.

This 2018 Kia Stinger RWD sports sedan is based on 2017 Genesis G80 platform, feature MacPherson suspension at the front and multi-link setups at the rear. This car’s wheelbase is measured at 114.4 inches, making it longer than some of its main competitors such as BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe, Audi A5 Sportsback and also Mercedes-Benz CLS. Moreover, due to the longer wheelbase, this car will provide more spacious cabin and cargo space compared to similar models in the coupe-like sedan class.
