2018 BMW 3 Series All-Electric Specifications
Power and Specs
Until now, there is no official information on how BMW is going to power the 2018 BMW 3 Series All-Electric car with full electrification. However, they are known to have the access to a 90kWh battery pack. Which should be an indication of targeted performance. There is a possibility that the same battery pack will be used on the all-electric version. If it happens to be true, the new sedan will possibly have 300 miles of driving range. It is also possible that BMW is preparing for even something better than that, more powerful battery for further driving range, especially as they take Tesla as a rival for this trim.
Exterior and Interior
Being an all-electric version, the new sedan will have a lot of improvement on the outside and inside. With multiple batteries to be installed, the new car should be built on the brand new platform. Many options have been estimated, but CLAR platform is the closest one so far. In addition to it, few parties also guess BMW will need to use more CFRP or at least Leipzig assembly line.

BMW needs to reduce the weight of the car while extending its wheelbase as well. The cabin should also receive the same total new treatment.
