2017 Nissan GT-R — 2017 Nissan GT-R is announced on New York Auto Show as the next year model. However, unlike our expectation, this sedan is going to be the refreshed version of the R35 model instead of a brand new generation of the car. It was reported to be one powerful car, let’s check out the whole released details.

Power and Specs
Under the hood, this 2017 Nissan GT-R car uses turbocharged V6 3.8 liter double head camshaft engine producing up to 565 hp with 467 lb ft torque, 4 points improvement. This engine is paired with auto dual clutch six speed shifting transmission. The mileage is pretty agreeable 16 mpg city drive and 22 mpg highway drive. The acceleration is pretty nice too in which this car can reach 60 mph in merely 2.8 seconds in estimation. The top speed is estimated to reach 196 mph.
Exterior and Interior
At glance, it doesn’t look any different, but this sedan gets real revised design here. The front grille has horizontal bar made of matte chrome. This grille rests on the top of black bumper, separating below and top grilles. There seems to be two break coolers on both sides that looking like mesh openings.
Front spoiler is on body color between the front bumper and spoiler lip. The 7 shaped accent on the sides are still there but it is partly colored with the same body color. Right beneath the door, you will notice NISMO inspired and aero minded rocker sill, narrowed for a lot easier ingress and egress.
This 2017 Nissan GT-R sedan runs with 20 inches wheels. The interior is slightly changed as well. The cabin is built with sound deadening material, acoustic glass windshield, and it is enriched with Active Noise Cancellation. AC is re-engineered, and the shifting pedal is mounted on the steering wheel. The whole cabin is more user friendly.

2017 Nissan GT-R Release Date and Price
So far, there is no specific date announced, but this 2017 Nissan GT-R car is scheduled for release in this summer. The price is not announced yet, but estimation goes up to $4,000 rise at most. Comparing to the previous model, this rise should be “comparable”, like officially mentioned by Nissan.
In sum, this can be not very satisfying news for drivers as most of them expect to welcome new generation. Several even call this car the R35.5 model, for slight improvement which deserves “refreshed” title more.
