2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe — The new Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe is going to take on last year model with slightly toned down redesign touch. 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Specifications
This car is going to be released on two different trims in US only. The first trim is GLC 300 and it is empowered by turbocharged four cylinder 2.0 liter engine that produces up to 241 hp with 273 lb ft torque. This engine is paired with Mercedes 4Matic all wheel drive configuration with auto nine speed shifting transmission delivering turbo spins on the four wheels.
The second trim is GLC43 and it is empowered by twin turbocharged V6 3.0 liter engine producing up to 362 hp with 384 lb ft torque. It is also completed with auto nine speed shifting transmission. This engine can run the crossover to 60 mph under five seconds acceleration. 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe US will only get these two trims, while Mercedes-Benz to release even more trims including ones empowered by diesel engine in Europe. There is no information on those other trims yet.
Exterior and Interior
The exterior reminds you on BMW X4 look. The bumper got new styling touch and the windscreen is angled heavily. The tailgate adapts lift-back style too. The whole body is in 4,730 mm in length and 1,600mm in height and it is enriched with Air Body Control system and Dynamic Body Control set up. This crossover ears 19 inches alloy. The 21 inches are available with additional price.
The interior is a posh comfortable cabin for driver and passengers. The upholstery is made of premium leather on bi color theme. You will find wood of open pore almost everywhere. The seats are super comfortable and the rear cabin is spacious. 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe also features center console on sloping mode, chromed framed air vents, sleek and smooth dashboard from which color screen can pop out. Buyer will be offered with additional Sport Package for the cabin too.
Release Date and Price
This car scheduled for release on the early of 2017. So far, there is no official information about this crossover car.
In sum, this car is not really pleasing. The exterior look is ugly while the power and specs are pretty nice, but it lacks of practicality as well. For those drivers who can accept that look and don’t prioritize practicality, this 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe will be enough.
