2017 Karma Revero Plug-in Hybrid to Hit US This Year. It has been officially confirmed that the new Karma Revero Plug-in Hybrid 2017 will be delivered to US market within this year. This sports sedan is the new brand for what previously known as Fisker Karma. With Fisker Automotive is now owned by Wanxiang Group in China, the company is rebranded as Karma Automotive with its car gets rebranded as well. Here is the production version of the car.

Features, Exterior, and Interior
The overall design of the 2017 Karma Revero Plug-in hybrid (PHEV) is still the same with the Fisker Karma. This car is a sports sedan in coupe trim. It features short boot and longer front fascia while riding huge wheels with huge wheel arches. The front fascia features divided front grille in the slim design with vertical matte black inserts.
There is one trapezoidal air intake or diffuser on each side of the lower bumper. The sloppy roof has patterns that look like a solar panel, but there is no official confirmation on this.
The rear end looks more mushy and muscular with iris-shaped taillights. Overall, this car looks handsome and up to new style, but the equipped features and interior details are not specified yet.
Powertrain – 2017 Karma Revero PHEV
This sports sedan is going to be a plug-in hybrid. Yes, there is finally a plug-in hybrid sports car. Even though not completely disclosed yet, this sports sedan is powered by a combination of turbocharged 2.0 liter of GM Ecotec engine. And, an electric motor, generating 403 hp of power output in total. With an official agreement, BMW will supply electric controls and charging system for this sports sedan.
There is no detail on battery lifetime and charging time for this car. Torque performance and top speed quote have been disclosed as well. With a test is still ongoing in California, we should receive more details on this car.
#Updated: September 11, 2016: This is powered by lithium-ion cells from Wanxiang subsidiary A123 Systems. And, it can boost its capacity from 20.4 kilowatt-hours to 21.4 kwh. It has a total range of 300 miles. And, about 50 miles of electric range. Karma claims 60 mph in 5.4 seconds. In total, the Revero musters 403 horsepower and 981 lb-ft of torque.
It also offers new 40-kw DC fast-charge port, which is can top up the battery to 80% in 24 minutes. It also will come with Fisker’s solar panel roof, which is returns for 200 watts of additional power.
2017 Karma Revero Plug-in Hybrid Price and Release Date
Right now, pricing hasn’t been announced yet. However, it is estimated to be more than $100,000. According to the plan, this car will be launched on September 8 this year. The sports sedan will be sent directly to several privately owned dealers and company-owned dealerships across the US. Each dealer will act as service center as well. So far, there are eight independent dealers in the US and two in Canada alone.
