2017 Hyundai i30 CW — 2017 Hyundai i30 Tourer Wagon Spotted in Germany. The prototype of 2017 Hyundai i30 Tourer Wagon was recently spotted testing in Germany. This is the second body type in the i30 lineup following the hatchback that has been launched in Paris Auto Show last September. After the wagon, it is rumored that a coupe version will also be unveiled very soon.
2017 Hyundai i30 CW Specifications
Spy shots, exterior, Interior design
Even behind the heavy camouflage, it is really not difficult to figure out that the design of the 2017 Hyundai i30 CW / cross wagon is pretty much the same with the hatch. It is especially obvious on the rear part where the bumper and the tail light design resembles with what we have seen in the hatch.
In fact, at first glance, the wagon looks just like the hatch with but with longer body and wheelbase. So far, the only thing that distinguishes the two, besides its body size, is the roof rail on the wagon.
The cabin in the prototype is also covered. But, at this point, it is very easy to predict that the fate of the interior will be just the same with the exterior. It means, just like the hatch the wagon could come with floating infotainment system with 8” screen along with Android Auto and Apple Car Play compatibility.
Furthermore, it probably will also come with rear view camera, the top class audio system as well as a wide range of safety features.
Engine Specs — 2017 Hyundai i30 Tourer wagon
It is very likely that 2017 i30 Tourer Wagon aka Elantra touring will get the same engine lineup with its hatch sibling that consists of three petrol and one diesel units. The first petrol engine is 1.4 L turbocharged engine. Which is that delivers 103 kW and 242 Nm of torque.
The second one is 1.0 L 3-cylinder petrol engine with 88 kW at 6,000 RPM and 171 Nm of torque. While, the last one is naturally aspirated 1.4 L engine that produces 73 kW at 6,000 RPM and 134 Nm of torque.
