2016 Hyundai i30 SR Specifications
Power and Specs
The new version is powered by turbocharged four cylinders 2.0 liter of GDi engine. The transmission should be available in two options, six-speed manual, and six-speed auto transmission. Of course, the price tag for the automatic transmission is higher. The engine generates around 124 kW of power output with 201 Nm of torque performance. This is pretty nice even though few hatchbacks make even better power. Hyundai also confirmed that the new version is enhanced with better handling. In addition to it, the newly tuned suspension is also added to make a more comfortable ride for the car.
Exterior and Interior
The new 2016 Hyundai i30 SR Series II hatchback is built nicely outside and inside. The overall design of the outer body is almost the same as its predecessor, yet it has the smoother appearance. It now wears 17 inches of alloy wheels with five spokes in the gray metallic finish.
Even though exterior change is mild, Hyundai offers orange finish now for this version. Most of the upgrade is in its interior. The car features black and red trimming for the cabin. The sports seats are covered in black leather with red accents. Contrasting red stitching is also found in few parts including front door armrests, steering wheel, and on the seats.
The power button also gets red ring on it. The cabin is trimmed in metallic gray with black headlining. On SR Premium, buyers will get electric park brake, heated seats, electric driver’s seat, TFT LCD infotainment screen, satellite navigation, auto dimming mirror, and HID Xenon headlights. In addition to it, a large panoramic roof can be added as well with additional cost.
